About the Product/Application Manager role
Senceive are a growing SME business. This means decisions can be made quickly and there’s scope to develop ideas out. We’re looking for someone who likes the sound of this to drive product development and applications within the North American rail sector.
Senceive provide wireless remote condition monitoring technology predominately across rail , construction and mining industries. The technology is currently being utilised in 40+ countries worldwide.
Senceive users installed more than 30,000 sensors last year – helping them manage ground and structural movement, landslide risk, geotechnical behaviour, rail track movement and much more. High profile case studies such as implementation by Network Rail (NR) in the UK have allowed NR to get embankment and slope monitoring data from sensors in minutes, straight to control rooms whereby urgent actions can be taken to protect human safety, prevent potential disasters and without the need to wait for an engineer's visit.
We’ve got 2 clear Key requirements for this role:
- Prior experience working with US rail infrastructure
- Experience and a clear understanding of Instrumentation and Monitoring (or Survey) techniques within the North American Rail Sector
We’d also love it if you had strong connections to any of the Class 1 railroads in the North American market but this is a nice wish rather than a must have
What will you do?
The role is focused on the Rail Sector and therefore all responsibilities are focused around this market, you’ll help us to develop current and future product line strategies for responsible product lines.
Alot of work will be around new clients and what goes with this but proven ability to manage entire product lifecycles would be good alongside good understanding around forecasting, pricing and marketing will be the norm.
What will you get in return?

- Scope for further growth due to structure of the business
